• Question: why have we only got 2 legs?

      Well our ancestors used to walk on all fours much like many of the monkeys… but many of our close relatives in the great ape family have the ability to walk on two legs for short periods of time… our closest relatives the Bonobos can do it for quite long periods compared to the others…

      So as to why we only have two… it’s because our ancestors found it evolutionarily advantageous to be bipedal (two feet) as an adaption to your environment.
