Question: Why do you test on mice rather than any other animals?

I use mice because the technology to genetically alter them and various experimental techniques are well established. They are relatively cheap to maintain and easy to house, and they grow pretty quick and breed in high numbers so its possible to get data from experiments in months time scales rather than many years if not decades in larger animals.
