Question: What are you trying to find out about kidneys?

I’m trying to find out whether there is anything more we can do to slow down the damage to the kidneys in diabetic people. There are a few drugs but nothing really slows down the kidney damage and eventually the people need transplants – and there aren’t enough kidney donors.
