• Question: this is so cool! Would it be possible to give someone a third kidney?

      It’s rare but some peoplen are actually born with a third kidney! They’re totally fine! It’s called a supernumerary kidney.

      I suppose it would also be technically possible to give someone an “extra” kidney surgically as we do kidney transplants all the time, though it would be unlikely to make much difference to how our bodies function…
