I remember being interested in science from about yr 4 at primary school. My other favourite subject at that age was Geography: volcanoes and other (pretty violent) natural events. So lightning, tornadoes, earthquakes and tsunami.

To be honest I’m like Heather… I’ve been interested in Science for as long as I can remember… but I didn’t ever think about it as science… just a natural curiosity about the world around me and wanting to understand how things worked… I distinctly remember from a very young age two events… watching a nature documentary and seeing lots of monarch butterflies covering hundreds to trees on their migration route… and witnessing a venus flytrap catch and eat a fly before my very eyes… I was hooked!
