• Question: Why are humans ticklish? Also, are other animals ticklish?

      If I had to guess I’d I’d say tickling is a mild form of irritation and the body has developed a response to “get away from it”.

      Other animals do have tickles… just look at a baby gorilla or puppy getting tickled and tell me that they aren’t ticklish!
