      It has to be the honour of being the first person to witness the wonders of nature… that thrill and excitement can’t be beaten… and then getting to share that discovery with the rest of the world!

      Learning and figuring out how to do something. Something about what you are doing is always new and that is pretty exciting.

      Being in control of your research and working something out from scratch is the feeling ever.

      The sense of achievement when you stand back and think “wow. I did that” makes up for the days when your experiments don’t work – and believe me you get a lot of those 🙂
