• Question: If you won a million pounds, what would you spend it on? (It doesn't have to be science related! :D)

      Well the first thing I’d do is get myself signed up for immunotherapy – I want to be able to enjoy summer without taking medication and still sneezing. Stupid hayfever.

      I’d definitely carry on with my PhD, and take the diabetes game into schools.

      ]Learn to ride a motorbike, and buy myself a nice one!

      I’d donate some money to MIND as they are a really important charity.

      Other than that I’d probably end up sticking it in to a savings account until I figured out what to do.

      hmmm… probably take 3 months off and go travelling for a bit… then come back to continue and finish my PhD…

      I’d give some of the money to family to help them pay off loans/bills so everyone is happy…

      Then probably get a home somewhere, donate some money to charities like St. John Ambulance who teach people how to do first aid which is something I think everyone should know how to do!

      Then probably save the rest for a rainy day… or buy a home…
