• Question: how many experiments do you do on an average day.

      unfortunately I don’t do any now 🙁 instead I help others plan and report on theirs. Most of my time is now spent in meetings or writing grants.

      In my younger days 🙁 I would usually do 1-2 actively different experiments but you are always planning your next one. I was always very busy!

      It really depends on what they are!

      Some take two days, some times I can do 3 in a day! so it’s varied!

      Well it depends on the protocol of the experiment and the question you’re asking… some times if I’m doing imaging experiments it can take 2 days, other experiments I can get done in a few hours like urine analysis… while others can take weeks where I change the amount of sodium in the diet of the mice long term to study its effects.
